Lost in Translation — Editorial Illustrations

A series of editorial illustrations created for Film Capsule magazine to accompany a personal essay on Sofia Coppola’s Lost in Translation. The illustrations respond to both the film and the writer’s personal memories, visually connecting the characters and themes of the film with their own experiences of childhood and life in Japan.
